Spilprisen er en hyldest til danske spil og danske spiludviklere, og hvilket andet spil ville løbe med prisen end det dansk udviklede spil, Hitman 3, som er udviklerne IO Interactive’s sidste spil i trilogien.

Spiljuryen udtalte om Hitman 3:

”This year’s winner is not only a great game but the final destination of a long journey, for both
the players and the development team. From it’s stunning locations, great audio and visuals, rich
& varied game design, and ability to tier together it’s series-spanning storyline, this game
exceeds the lofty expectations built up by it’s prequels.”

Så ja, det kommer ærligt talt ikke bag på os, at Hitman 3 hev prisen hjem for Game of the Year 2022 sammen med priserne for Best Visuals og Best Game Design.
